Customer service solutions provider Accidentcare Group PLC today announces a three year strategic alliance with Europ Assistance, the largest breakdown insurer on the Continent. Under the agreement, Accidentcare Group PLC will launch its own-branded motor breakdown service in January 2001 for Britain's 26 million drivers. Called Motor Breakdown Plus, the new product will be sold through affinity groups, such as motoring and sports clubs for £69.99. Membership benefits include: • Roadside Assistance - Call out an dup to 1 hour's labour • Home Service - Call out and up to 1 hour's labour • Message Relay - Up to two telephone messages to family, friends and business associates • Vehicle Recovery - Transportation of vehicle and passengers to nearest local repairer or any UK destination if not repairable the same day • Car Hire - up to three days if vehicle cannot be repaired within one day • UK Accident Hospitalisation - if a driver is hospitalised, he/she is covered for transport costs p to £250 for a family member to visit, up to £200 per person for two nights' Bed & Breakfast accommodation near hospital and pay all medical transfer costs to driver's home or local hospital Continental Motor Cover - includes cover prior to departure, roadside assistance, replacement parts, break-in, vehicle out of use, alternative driver, repatriation and customs regulations.
